Vaccine Information

We strongly support the vaccination of our patients to protect them against potentially deadly diseases that still threaten children around the world. It is the policy of our office that all our patients be vaccinated following the schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are always happy to discuss any and all questions you may have about vaccines.

The following vaccines are administered in our office:

DTaP – Diptheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis vaccine

IPV – Inactivated polio vaccine

Hep B – Hepatitis B vaccine

Hib – Haemophilus influenza (type b) vaccine

PCV13 – Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine

MMR – Measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine

Varicella – Chicken pox vaccine

Hep A – Hepatitis A vaccine

MCV4 – Meningococcal conjugate (types A, C, W, Y) vaccine

MenB -Meningococcal (type B) vaccine

TdaP – Tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis vaccine

HPV – Human papilloma virus vaccine

Rotarix – Rotavirus vaccine

Influenza – Live attenuated influenza vaccine (nasal spray) and inactivated influenza vaccine (injection)
