Dr. Kathleen Christopherson

Dr. Christopherson was raised in Tucson, Arizona and graduated from Colorado College. After college, she joined the Peace Corps and during her tour in Malawi, she decided to become a pediatrician. She returned to Tucson and attended the University of Arizona School of Medicine where she graduated in 1989. She completed her residency in Albuquerque, New Mexico and then moved to Reno.

Dr. Christopherson was board certified in Pediatrics in October 1992, and most recently recertified in 2006. She joined Northern Nevada Pediatrics in 1992. Over the years, she has watched many of her patients "grow up" and now enjoys seeing their children in the practice. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor with University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Dr. Christopherson and her husband have two teenage boys. They enjoy camping, snowshoeing, hiking, and sailing together.
